Our Party Season Shoot
at Simonstone Hall
Earlier this year, the Hope & Ivy team made their way to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales to Simonstone Hall, a historic country hotel and the location for our AW24 Party Season shoot. Surrounded by breathtaking valley views and full of characterful rooms, the lodge promised to be the perfect spot to capture the sparkle of our most embellished designs just in time for the countdown to Christmas.
After journeying up from London the day before and getting acquainted with some local farmland friends, the shoot day started bright and early, with photographer Neil, and videographer Jake capturing our gorgeous model Chelsea as dawn began to break over the rolling hills.
The gorgeous green fields made a romantic backdrop to our shots of The Nicole and The Bunty, with quintessential dry-stone walls and quaint farmhouses dotted in the distance adding to the pastoral feel. Back at the Hall grounds, where peacocks roam the surrounding estate, our model Chelsea slipped into The Artemis – showing off its glittering sequin embellishments as they glinted in the early morning sunshine.
The shoot then moved inside to take in the dramatic interiors of the historic hunting lodge, with the boutique bedrooms and decadent roll-top baths serving as a sumptuous backdrop for our intricately embroidered Klara dress. We loved how the William Morris-printed wallpaper throughout the hotel reminded us of our exclusive collaborative collection with The William Morris Society. Chelsea then showcased our glamorous gowns The Rosalie and The Anastasia before stopping for a Christmas tipple in the hotel bar while sporting The Cerise.
The stunning surroundings of Simonstone Hall, with its welcoming fireplaces and decorated dining hall felt perfect for the celebratory mood running throughout our party season collection. That magical feeling is enchantingly encapsulated in our two sparkling strapless styles, The Bambi and The Clarette, which are finished with a festive bow at the back.
We had such a wonderful time shooting this special collection in such stately surroundings that we wished we could stay longer! Our AW24 collection felt right at home in Simonstone Hall, with its impressive and ornate interiors, and we hope that same elegant impression will inspire you to get into the festive spirit this party season!

One winner will be selected to win a two-night stay for two people in a Principal Room at Simonstone Hall with two breakfasts and one 4-course meal for two people included. The winner will also receive two Hope & Ivy dresses of their choosing – one for themselves and one for a friend. The winner must follow @hopeivylondon and @simonstonehall on Instagram, have tagged a friend in the comments, and have shared the giveaway post via their Instagram story. Stays at Simonstone Hall must be claimed before, and are valid until,the 14th of March 2025 (excluding Valentine’s weekend – 14th – 16th February 2025 and subject to availability).
